Verb: To collect/ Material: OakRainwater is the central element of this folly. It flows over the roof and is directed downwards through wooden gutters, creating a layered and dynamic interplay of water flows. At the bottom, all the flows converge in two large troughs, where the rainwater is collected. From there, the water can be reused, for example to water plants, as a drinking place for animals, and for other applications. The folly is made entirely of oak and carefully carved into a specific shape. From top to bottom, there are three different thicknesses in the wooden trunks, each with its own system for attaching the gutters. The wood carving has a subtle slope so that the water drains away naturally. The wood has been treated using traditional, regional shipbuilding techniques, ensuring a watertight and durable construction.
