Verb: to feast / Material: Compressed Earth BlockMade from nearby sourced quarry waste, the CEBs fill the floors of the barn, creating an interior topography that seperates the different spaces, with no need for walls. Thus, a great hall appears, with the old wooden structure as its centerpiece, anchored in a long table that emerges from the ground and sits everyone around. In the kitchen, a large chimney punctures through the roof, signaling the new common place. A small workshop for personal use, is kept separate though not completely severed from the rest of the barn.
