Verb: To resonate / Material: Barn LarchSound is generated through wind-induced vibration of larch wood elements sourced from the barn itself, establishing material continuity between the existing structure and the intervention. Through this process, the barn is transformed into a musical instrument, in which the wood acts as a resonating body rather than a passive surface. At the same time, rotating wooden panels create a variable façade condition. Their movement intermittently reveals and conceals the barn, producing a shifting visual effect and an unstable line of sight between interior and exterior. This continuous alternation reinforces the relationship between sound, movement, and perception.
